By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Zondex operates a cybersecurity search engine that continuously scans and indexes internet-connected devices and services worldwide. The Service provides:

• Search capabilities for discovering internet-connected hosts, open ports, services, and technologies
• Detailed information about devices, including banners, SSL certificates, HTTP headers, and known vulnerabilities (CVEs)
• Statistical data and analytics about the global internet landscape
• An API for programmatic access to search data
• Exportable datasets for security research and analysis
• Documentation, guides, and educational resources

The data provided by Zondex is collected from publicly accessible internet-facing systems using standard network scanning techniques. No authentication bypass, exploitation, or intrusive testing is performed during data collection.

Certain features of the Service require you to register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or are used for malicious purposes. One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you shall NOT:

• Use data obtained from Zondex to conduct cyberattacks, unauthorized intrusions, or any form of exploitation against systems or individuals
• Use the Service to harass, stalk, threaten, or harm any person or organization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data using information from the Service
• Use data for spamming, phishing, social engineering, or distributing malware
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data beyond the limits of your subscription plan
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense Zondex data without prior written authorization
• Use automated tools to circumvent rate limits or access restrictions
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international law

We encourage responsible disclosure. If you discover a vulnerability through Zondex data, we urge you to report it to the affected organization following established responsible disclosure practices rather than exploiting it.

Access to the Zondex API is subject to the following conditions:

• Rate Limits: API requests are subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension of API access.
• Authentication: API access requires a valid API key. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Sharing API keys is prohibited.
• Fair Use: API access is intended for integration with your own tools and workflows. Systematic bulk downloading of the entire database is not permitted.
• Attribution: If you publicly display data obtained from Zondex, you must provide appropriate attribution to Zondex.io as the source.

Search query limits apply per account and are determined by your subscription tier. Specific limits are detailed on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify rate limits with reasonable notice.

The search results and data provided by Zondex are compiled from publicly accessible sources through automated internet scanning. While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that:

• Data may not be real-time and could be outdated at the time of viewing
• Search results are provided "as is" without warranties of completeness or accuracy
• The presence of a device or service in our index does not imply authorization to access it
• Vulnerability information (CVE data) is provided for informational and defensive purposes only
• We do not guarantee the availability of any specific data or search results

If you are the owner or operator of a system indexed by Zondex and wish to request removal, please contact us at support@zondex.io.

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and branding, is and will remain the exclusive property of Zondex and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Our trademarks, logos, and service marks may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent. The compilation, organization, and presentation of data within the Service constitute our intellectual property.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purposes as described in your subscription plan.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zondex and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service
• Damages resulting from any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Damages resulting from the conduct of any third party on the Service
• Any actions taken by you or third parties based on information obtained from the Service

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred euros (EUR 100), whichever is greater.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zondex and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Any misuse of data obtained through the Service
• Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@zondex.io or through your account settings. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• Your API keys will be deactivated
• We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where practical, by sending a notification to the email address associated with your account.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the jurisdiction in which Zondex operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which Zondex is established.
